The Dr. Althea Aqua Glowing Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++ is a moisturizing sunscreen that provides powerful protection against UVA and UVB rays while keeping the skin hydrated and radiant without stickiness or greasiness. Its lightweight, almost watery texture spreads easily and absorbs quickly.
Formulated with next-generation, photostable chemical UV filters that maintain protection for up to 8 hours in urban conditions:
- Uvinul A Plus (Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate) – protects against UVA rays.
- Uvinul T 150 (Ethylhexyl Triazone) – shields the skin from UVB radiation.
- Mexoryl XL (Drometrizole Trisiloxane) – a liposoluble filter that defends against both UVA and UVB.
- Tinosorb M (Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol) – absorbs and reflects UV light, enhancing the performance of other filters.
Key ingredients:
- Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) – prevents pigmentation, regulates sebum production, and refines pores.
- Ceramides – restore the skin’s natural barrier, reducing dryness and flakiness.
- Panthenol (Vitamin B5) – soothes irritation, calms redness, and speeds up skin recovery.
- Hyaluronic Acid – deeply hydrates and prevents moisture loss.
