A key active ingredient is salicylic acid (BHA) — an oil-soluble acid that penetrates the pores to cleanse them. It lightens sebaceous filaments, prevents clogged pores and comedones, reduces shine in the T-zone, balances sebum production, and gently removes dead skin cells.
Another important component is Heartleaf extract (Houttuynia cordata), a soothing botanical that accelerates healing, reduces redness and irritation, calms inflammation, and decreases skin sensitivity.
