The Ordinary Retinol 0.5% In Squalane serum is a powerful anti-aging booster that improves the appearance of skin showing signs of aging: it reduces wrinkle depth, brightens pigmentation spots, evens skin tone, smooths and firms, and tightens skin while shrinking enlarged pores.
The product evens microtexture, slows skin aging, imparts a natural glow, prevents blackheads and inflammation.
The main active ingredient, retinol, is a stable form of vitamin A that activates cell division, triggering the internal renewal process: smooths fine lines, reduces the depth of deeper wrinkles, increases firmness and density, and tones the skin.
Retinol also inhibits tyrosinase activity – the enzyme responsible for pigmentation, accelerates exfoliation, prevents comedone formation, keeping the skin clear and even.
The balanced formula contains no water, alcohol, or plant oils—components that may reduce retinol’s effectiveness, ensuring visible results. The oil-based texture spreads easily on the skin.
Additional active ingredients:
- Squalane – antioxidant that intensely moisturizes, prevents dryness, speeds healing, and delays premature aging.
- Shea butter – moisturizes, restores, has anti-aging effects, deeply nourishes, enriches with vitamins and fatty acids, and does not clog pores.
